Thanksgiving

So yesterday was Thanksgiving, and instead of the typical Thanksgiving this year our family decided to go out somewhere for dinner… it was an interesting experience. We went to what is portrayed as a high class fancy  country club  type restaurant, where you would expect to pay big bucks.. and while our meal was on the expensive side it was not outrageously priced. It was interesting though, becuase the employees there were extremely friendly, however a little out of sync- to say the least.

At first we figured it was just a simple mistake, we had just sat down and already one of the waitresses was bringing us food, WOW that was quick just sat down hadnt even order drinks yet, and they were trying to give us some one elses food. Well that happened about 3 more times through out or evening. It was hilarious watching them run from table to table trying to figure out what food when to which table.

Now dont get me wrong, the service was great, they were friendly, nice, and were always there making sure everything was ok. Once we got our food everything was fine atleast for us. the table next to us, had the same problem we did, they had just ordered and the food was already there infront of them before they even realized it wasnt theirs. After that was all sorted out and they actually got what they ordered, none of them had knives. Who orders a Steak or Prime Rib, and doesnt need a knife?

Anyway, it was still a nice evening. And for the first time in my life i didnt over indulge in the food infront of me, only because there wasnt an enormous amount of food sitting infront of me like there normally is at my house on Thanksgiving.
