So, as im sure you have noticed its been quite awhile since i have written any posts…. mainly because for awhile there my GPA was dropping…. i went from a 3.25 to a 2.77 GPA… LONG! Story, but to make it short, i ran into a speed bump with a couple of concepts…. By the way, has anyone ever told you how ridiculous learning “ideal” vs “real” OPAMPS are? If not, ideally no current flows through an Opamp, however in actuality there is current… but when you do your calculations you dont account for it… wait, what? we are calcualating for how something works not using the numbers that are ACTUALLY there? whatever… move on… so after i got over “simple” understandings like that, i managed to bring my GPA back up to 3.01 Still not good enough… (A school mandatory hours, have me on 20-3, meaning, i had no life) BUT now im on 15-2 BARELY as 3.0 is the cut off… Cutoff when Vce is at MAX and Ic is as MIN.. wait no no i didnt mean to give the electical definition of Transistor cut off… but you spend so many hours swimming in electrical concepts eventually every thing you think of relates back to class..
Anyway, after a long day, i started reading my favorite comic again, Ctrl-Alt-Del Online, and if youre not a nerd dont start… but if you are, you might wanna start from the beginning and read your way all the way through you might find it to be a good stress reliever.
Speaking of stress relievers… isnt exercise supposed to relieve stress?? whoever said that LIED! since it gets too hot to PT in the afternoon, we now have to do it in the morning, so for those of you who dont know i get up at 4am and start my studying by 5-520ish, however that doesnt seem to be the case on days we have PT, nope instead the entire class has to be on the field by 0550, and then we have to go do whatever (running, play a sport, work out) the APO (Athletic Petty Officer) decides. After thats all done, which is usually around 645, wwe have to be showered, shaved, and dressed by 0720… no problem really Navy made us do it in 10 in boot camp. But what is hard, is on top of that you are supposed to be reviewing yesterdays topic AND going over todays topic before its covered so you have seen it, and it is fresh in your mind before the classes begin…. anyway its 2200 (10pm for you mom) so i should go to bed.

Avast and Ahoy!
Your Grandpa and I are at the boat. You know, the thing you wanted to at least see whilst in the Navy. We’re going to cruise the San Juan Islands and the Gulf Coast Islands and maybe south Puget Sound. We’re having to get the stern thruster fixed first ’cause it’s so much easier to pilot when you can move the boat sideways.
We got a new caretaker. This is his first time for us. We’re hoping it works out. We feel bad about asking Kyle to do it twice a day and we are appreciative that he has done it so much. Hopefully he won’t have to do it again.
It sounds like you are fiercely busy. I’m so glad you have the opportunity get expertise in this field. I think it will really put you out in front for the future. Electronics makes Everything Go!

I got an email today and I had to think of you.
Michele, I got this from John and Angie King, who still live in Van Nuys.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Much Love,
Achee
and Grandpa, too!
Lore told you of our plans to spend the time cruising the San Juans but on the 16th of June During a -2 tide I hit a rock doing 17 knots. It took everything from the flywheel back on both engines. But the boat stayed afloot. She is in Dry dock now. Mastakes on a boat can cost you your life. I screwed up and it almost cost Lore and I ours. 49 degree water. We would not have made it for long at our age. Miss read a buoy. Keep studying and hope your navigator is studing also.
Love
Grandpa
Well, that would explain why you haven’t called me recently ;oP
I sure would hate to have your schedule. But still – you’ll have to email/call/write/text/myspace message me whenever you get the chance. Gotta be reassured that you’re still alive
P
Love ya,
Jenna
Hang in there it will pay off in the future. Don’t let those concepts get around you. Electronics is a building block. If you miss one it will come back and bit you.
Miss not having you around. You have always lived close and it is hard not to be able to just pick-up the phone and see what is going on.
Nice Car, maybe you will get a chance to use it once your GPA gets up there.
